CT Cervical spine - Normal

Technique:

Fine slice non-contrast helical CT images were obtained from the skull base to the thoracic inlet. Bone and soft windows were reconstructed.

Comparison:

Findings:

No fractures or other bony abnormalities are identified in the cervical spine. The vertebral bodies and discs are of normal height with no malalignment. No disc bulges are identified.

The facet and uncovertebral joints have a normal appearance.

The craniocervical junction is unremarkable, with normal foramen magnum.

The spinal canal is widely patent with normal appearing cord. The neural exit foramina are normal.

No paravertebral abnomality is seen. The prevertebral space is normal. The neurovascular structures and muscles are normal. No lymphadenopathy is seen.

The lung apices are normal.

Conclusion:

Normal CT cervical spine.
