NORMAL HRCT CHEST

Technique:

Fine slice non-contrast helical CT images were obtained from the lung apices to the lung bases. Mediastinal and lung windows were reconstructed.

Fine slice supine expiratory and prone inspiratory images were also acquired.

Comparison:

Findings:

The heart, great vessels, trachea and oesophagus have a normal appearance. There is no lymphadenopathy.

The pulmonary vessels and bronchi are normal.

The pulmonary parenchyma has a normal appearance, with no nodules, ground-glass change, collapse, consolidation or emphysematous/cystic change seen.

The expiratory and prone inspiratory images are normal.

The pleural spaces are clear.

The upper abdominal solid organs and bowel have a normal non-contrast appearance within the field of view.

No bony abnormality is identified.

Conclusion:

Normal HRCT Chest.
