CT CHEST-ABDO-PELVIS ONCOLOGY COMPARISON

Technique:

Post IV and oral contrast fine slice imaging was obtained from the lung apices to the lung bases and in portal venous phase from the lung bases to the symphysis pubis.

The heart, great vessels, trachea and oesophagus have a normal appearance. There is no lymphadenopathy.
The pulmonary vessels and bronchi are normal, as is the pulmonary parenchyma. The pleural spaces are clear.
The upper abdominal solid organs and bowel have a normal arterial phase appearance within the field of view.
No bony abnormality is identified.

Abdomen/Pelvis:
The liver, spleen, pancreas, adrenals and kidneys have a normal appearance.
The bowel is well opacified with oral contrast and is unremarkable, with normal wall thickness and no faecal loading or dilation.
No free fluid or gas is seen with the abdomen or pelvis. No lymphadenopathy is identified. The vascular structures are normal.
The lung bases are clear. No bony abnormality is seen.

Conclusion:

Normal CT chest, abdomen and pelvis.

Technique:

MRI Whole Spine – Trauma Normal

MRI Whole Spine - Trauma Normal

Clinical Information:

MVA.

Technique:

Sagittal T1, T2 and TIRM imaging was obtained through the entire spine, as well as axial T1 and T2 weighted imaging.

Findings:

The vertebral bodies and discs are of normal height with no malalignment. The marrow and disc signal is normal.

The craniocervical junction is normal.

The spinal canal is normal. The cord and conus are unremarkable, as is the cauda equina. The cord terminates at T12/L1.

The lateral recesses and neural exit foramina are widely patent. The facet joints have a normal appearance. No paravertebral abnormality is identified.

The ALL, PLL, ligamentum flavum, interspinous and posterior spinous ligaments appear intact.

Conclusion:

Normal MRI spine.

CORONARY ARTERY CT

Clinical Information:

The patient has stable symptoms consistent with coronary ischemia, is at low to intermediate risk of coronary artery disease and would have been considered for coronary angiography.

Technique:

CT coronary angiogram was performed following intravenous contrast as per CT CA protocol. Heart rate at the time of acquisition was ___ bpm. DLP was ___ mGy*cm.

Conclusion:

No coronary artery disease. Normal CT CA.

Fine slice supine expiratory and prone inspiratory images were also acquired.

The expiratory and prone inspiratory images are normal.

The pleural spaces are clear.

The upper abdominal solid organs and bowel have a normal non-contrast appearance within the field of view.

No bony abnormality is identified.

Fine slice pulmonary artery phase helical CT images were obtained from the lung apices to the lung bases. Mediastinal and lung windows were reconstructed.

The pulmonary arteries have a normal appearance with no fillings defects to suggest a pulmonary embolus.

The heart, great vessels, trachea and oesophagus have a normal appearance. There is no lymphadenopathy.

The bronchi are normal, as is the pulmonary parenchyma. The pleural spaces are clear.

The upper abdominal solid organs and bowel have a normal arterial phase appearance within the field of view.

No bony abnormality is identified.
